Gareth Bale has declared that he is not seeking any immediate move

Gareth Bale has declared that he is not seeking any immediate move away from Real Madrid since he feels happy at the club.

The Welshman’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu has been an ever present speculation. Even though he has joined the club as the world record transfer, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be seen as the number one not just at the club but across the world. Bale has been played in the number of positions and this has not exactly helped the former Tottenham winger. Ronaldo, meanwhile, has been the centre focus in the Madrid team even after the arrival of Rafa Benitez.

Benitez clearly trusted Bale much more than Ronaldo and this led to the Welshman being given a lot more of the defence of responsibilities. Now with Benitez gone out of the picture, Zinedine Zidane has become the new manager at Madrid. It remains to be seen if Bale’s position at the club will change once again. The player was asked about his future plans to which he stated that he wants to remain at Madrid for the time being. This is an indication from the 26-year-old that things about exactly smooth on his side. Bale continues to be linked with a return to the Premier League with United interested in him.

“I’m happy at the moment. You can never predict what happens in the future, but I’m enjoying my football at the moment so I’ll keep going.Obviously that was nice of him to say.We had a chat when he first came in. And no matter what, I’ll give 100 per cent on the football pitch. He’s [Zidane] a legend, not just of the club but world football,” said Bale. The winger has scored 13 goals in 16 appearances this season, which is a better return than Ronaldo.
