It is very much expected that Arsenal will be in the market for top players unlike in previous seasons after they brought in Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil for £ 42 million on the transfer deadline day this summer. This deal is one of the highest in this transfer window of all clubs in Europe.
Players like Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani occupy a greater position because they cost their clubs £ 50 million and £ 55 million respectively. They moved to the French league this season for Monaco and PSG respectively. Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is a huge fan of both players and that he would have loved to sign him.
He has said that Cavani is more of a mobile player, who can play across the front three. Radamel Falcao, meanwhile, is more adept at playing in the box. Even though Cavani is a striker, Wenger thinks that Falcao is much better than the Uruguayan when it comes to scoring goals. Falcao helped his team to win the Europa league in two out of the last three seasons. He also became one of the first players to win the Europa league with two different teams in consecutive seasons. Falcao has made a great start to his Monaco career by helping the team go top of the table.
“I believe it’s very difficult to make a difference because for me they are very similar. They have an animal aspect inside of them. Both of them are animals. I think Cavani is a bit more mobile, and makes more runs off the ball, and Falcao is a bit more of a box player, a bit more of a killer than Cavani. But both of them, I love. And honestly, not to protect one or the other, but it’s very difficult to make a difference between the two,” Wenger told the Premier League free bets website.
